Risha Grant is an internationally renowned diversity, inclusion and bias expert. Her book is a good resource as she shares stories which are a great tool for understanding situations: That’s BS! How Bias Synapse Disrupts Inclusive Cultures”. She also has a corresponding “BS” Video Series. Risha shares that the simple steps we as families and communities need to be doing to create change are: Listen, Validate, Act. And read to children,– the availability of books on diversity and culture are abundant! And libraries offer story times–virtually at this time. We are the force of change.
