Provocative Enlightenment promises fascinating October

Eldon Taylor, host of Provocative Enlightenment, heard Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., has announced the program’s action packed lineup for the rest of October.

October 11, tune in to hear Before You Know It: The Unconscious Reasons We Do What We Do with Professor John Bargh. For the past 35 years, we have studied unconscious mental processes scientifically, how they operate and influence the average person, which paints a very different picture from Freud’s version which was based on a handful of mentally ill individuals. This is the first time in human history we have a systematic and scientific understanding of how our hidden mind works.

October 18, tune in to hear The Premonition Code with Julia Mossbridge MA, PhD. Receiving accurate information about future events is neither unscientific or uncommon. Written by an award-winning scientist and a mystic, this book documents the scientific, spiritual and practical aspects of precognition – going beyond the usual “gee whiz!” approach and instead providing fodder for a worldwide shift in how we think of time, our lives, and each other.

October 25, tune in to hear The Soul Fallacy with Julien Musolino. Most Americans believe they possess an immaterial soul that will survive the death of the body. In sharp contrast, the current scientific consensus rejects the traditional soul, although this conclusion is rarely discussed publicly. In this book, a cognitive scientist breaks the taboo and explains why modern science leads to this controversial conclusion. In doing so, the book reveals the truly astonishing scope and power of scientific inquiry, drawing on ideas from biology, psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and the physical sciences.

Each week, Provocative Enlightenment, offers a novel, yet hard-hitting approach to those formally soft questions that everyone is interested in, such as: Who am I? What does this all mean? How do I maximize my life experience?

Walking the fine line between the outer edges of hard science and the New Age extremes, host Eldon Taylor covers subjects that are relevant to us all by aiming for the heavens while keeping feet firmly on the ground. Eldon has interviewed a large variety of guests, ranging from famous actors such as Lindsay Wagner and Linda Evans, to Congressman Tim Ryan and biologist Rupert Sheldrake, Other guests have included renowned psychologist Stanley Krippner and famous medium James Van Praagh.

For his part Eldon Taylor is an award winning New York Times best-selling author of over 300 books and audio/video programs, and is the host of the popular syndicated radio show, Provocative Enlightenment. His most recent works include Gotcha: The Subordination of Free Will, Choices and Illusions, I Believe, Mind Programming, What Does That Mean?, What If?, and Self-Hypnosis and Subliminal Technology. Eldon has earned doctoral degrees in both clinical and pastoral psychology and is a Fellow in the American Psychotherapy Association as well as a certified Master Chaplain.

Assisting on all levels of the show is Ravinder Taylor, co-host who also holds a B.Sc. degree in microbiology from Aberystwyth University in Wales, a Bachelors degree in Metaphysics from the University of Metaphysics in Sedona, Arizona, has studied hypnosis and psychotherapy at the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy in London, England, and is an ordained interdenominational minister.
