He is a wounded healer, ready to serve.” He is a two-tour veteran of the Vietnam War who was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer related to exposure to Dioxin (commonly known as Agent Orange). He is also a retired Sergeant from the Kentucky State Police following a 28-year career in law enforcement.”
5/9/19 – Ego Therapy and the Two Voices Within with Dr. Nickolas Martin: Balancing the nature of ego and spirit and awakening to the Divine Self is the subject of three books by Dr Martin and his wife, Rev Linda M. Martin. Dr. Martin, is a licensed psychologist, certified school psychologist, and social worker, has worked in clinical, university, public school, and private practice settings as a therapist, diagnostician, and educator.
5/16/19 – Dangerous Instincts: How Gut Feelings Betray Us with Mary Ellen O’Toole: Mary Ellen O’Toole, Ph.D. has spent her career studying the criminal mind. One of the most senior profilers for the FBI until her retirement in 2009. Dr. O’Toole has helped capture, interview and understand some of the world’s most infamous people. Dr. O’Toole worked as an FBI agent for 28 years, spending more than half of her Bureau career in the organization’s prestigious Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU)—the very unit that is the focus of the hit crime series “Criminal Minds.”
5/23/19 – How Enlightenment Changes the Brain with Dr. Andrew Newberg: Dr. Newberg has actively pursued a number of neuro-imaging research projects which have included the study of aging and dementia, epilepsy, and other neurological and psychiatric disorders. He has been involved in the study of mystical and religious experiences as well as the more general mind/body relationship in both the clinical and research aspects of his career. His research also includes understanding the physiological correlates of acupuncture therapy, meditation, and other types of alternative therapies.
5/30/19 – The Like Switch: An Ex-FBI Agent’s Guide to Influencing, Attracting and Winning People Over with Jack Schafer: John R. “Jack” Schafer, PhD, is a psychologist, professor, intelligence consultant, and former FBI Special Agent. Dr. Schafer spent fifteen years conducting counter-intelligence and counterterrorism investigations, and seven years as a behavioral analyst for the FBI’s National Security Division’s Behavioral Analysis Program. He developed spy recruitment techniques, interviewed terrorists, and trained agents in the art of interrogation and persuasion.
