On July 31st, Marilyn Milano, host of Love Has Many Faces, celebrated two years on the air – no small feat in the competitive world of radio! Her program airs Tuesdays from 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Love Has Many Faces focuses on animal rescue, as well as products, services and helpful information that will benefit pets and the people who love them.
“The idea for this show stemmed from my desire to do more to help than just make donations as I felt the amount I could give was a drop in the bucket,” said Marilyn, adding “I wanted to help raise awareness, touch hearts, and ultimately save more animals by letting people know how they could help.”
She says there’s always a need for foster homes, tech talent, volunteers, and of course donations.
“I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing people from such diverse groups as Old Dog Haven, Saving Great Animals, Blind Dog Rescue Alliance, Deaf Dogs of Oregon, Beagle Freedom Project (now called Rescue + Freedom Project), Rescue Express, Feral Cat Spay Neuter Project, New Moon Farms Goat Rescue, Good Neighbor Vet, Beck’s Place, Preventive Vet, and so many more, as well as practitioners of pet CPR and Tellington Touch,” she said.
In the course of doing the show, Marilyn has talked to many diverse and wonderful people who are giving so much to educate, inform, and improve the lives of animals. Her goal is to keep the momentum going and continue to help animals and those who love them.
