Horoscope for the week of June 21st:
We have four, count them FOUR major events this week. First is Jupiter going retrograde on the 20th, the summer solstice on the 21st, Mercury going direct on the 22nd, and finally Neptune is going retrograde on the 25th. That’s a whole lot of astrological activity in one week. Combining all those, we get: new beginnings, clear communication about new philosophies, and the resulting change in spiritual beliefs. Sounds like a real growth week! Let’s see where these changes will affect you, this week:
You will find that your week is making you feel more testy than usual. With the planetary issues going on, it will feel like one has to surrender to them, rather than fighting. Make sure you take care and not fly off the handle too much, and just let go when you feel like you can’t do anything about your circumstances.

Ruling Planet: The Sun
Leo is truly shining from within, because of its own projection of its magnificence. Whether or not they see that in themselves, it is there and it lives. Leo is ruled by the Sun, the sun that reflects outwardly and back. Leos have the most wonderful of smiles and positive energy. They have the best posture; it is as though they know what it means to be royal, right down to their DNA.
Associated body part: the heart and upper back. Leo is very tied to the heart, because when you’ve been smiled at by a Leo, you know it. Their heart is truly engaged. The issues of challenge –
The issues of challenge – Leos probably need to tone their ego down a bit; when it gets too big, there’s nothing that can tear down the fact that they think they’re a legend in their own mind. If they can come from the heart on a regular basis, it will be so much better for them. The issues of joy – The joy of being joyful, playful and dramatic (in a good way). Nothing excites a Leo more than having an audience to play to!
