The band is composed of Alan Boyd on vocals, Rich Weaver on drums, Glen Christenson on guitar/bass and Cameron Carlson on guitar. The band comes to us out of Snohomish and has recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Paul Speer; David Lants, Sir Mix-a-lot; Floyd Ritzma; Pearl Jam, Audio Slave, Dave Mathews, Brian Vanentino; Stevie Nicks, Kiss editing. They have released the following albums: Debut: Self-titled (independent), EP: independent, Digital Black: ACM Records, Enemy Within: ACM Records, Global Warning – Cue Hits: ACM Records, Global Warning – Instrumental Release ACM Records, Global Warning song “Missing Piece”: ACM Records movie soundtrack for Spy, the movie, starring Vincent Pastore of the Sopranos, 7theroy: Record Label TBA. Their newest release, 7theory is about the End of Times.
“We will be finding out more about the band, whose music influenced them, how they think their music will fit in with where we are currently in the world and how it can have a positive influence on the music climate of today,” said Loretta, adding, “We will also be discussing how music distribution has changed over the last 20 years, and how they go about recording their music currently. And we’ll be hearing some of their music.”
