*Washington State Senator Bob Hasegawa (D)-11th Legislative District comments on his legislative priorities for the upcoming session. He will comment on his efforts to bring about equity as a member of the state’s Capital Project Advisory Review Board (CPARB).
*Irene Reyes, Owner, Excel Supply Company, she is a member of the Washington State Chapter-National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) and a member of the state’s Capital Project Advisory Review Board (CPARB) comments on her efforts to insure equity in the process.
*Bob Armstead, President, Washington State Chapter-National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) comments on his organizations efforts to increase participation in state business/contracting opportunities with Washington State. The last report indicted that less than 3% went women and minority firms in 2021. Black participation was 0.18 % Native American participation was 0.11 %.
