US Representative Karen Bass returns

*US Representative Karen Bass (D) represents the 37th Congressional District of California and Chair, Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) returns to Urban Forum to continue the conversation about the work of the CBC and the Coronavirus’

*Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos (D) 37th Legislative District was the sponsor of House Bill 1918 that established the Central District Community Preservation Development Authority (CD CPDA) aka the McKinney Center for Community and Economic Development will announce the members of the Selection Committee that will appoint the CD CPDA Board of directors

*Larry Gossett as a King County Council member was one of the leaders for having the county named for Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He will reflect on Saturday’s 52nd Anniversary of the murder and assassination of Dr. King in Memphis, Tennessee April 4, 1968 while Dr. King was in town supporting the Garbage Workers.

*Reverend Kenneth J. Ransfer, Sr., Senior Pastor, Greater Mount Baker Missionary Baptist Church has been appointed to the Selection Committee that will name the Board of Directors for the CD CPDA/Mckinney Center for Community and Economic Development. He will reflect on the 52nd Anniversary of the murder/assassination of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
