*Attorney Jesse Wineberry, Sr. one of the leaders of the Initiative-1000 (I-1000) Campaign that garnered the most signatures of any initiative in the history of the state, over 395,000 registered voters signed on to support returning Affirmative Action to Washington State. The Washington State Legislature voted I-1000 into law on April 28, 2019.

*Ollie Garrett, President, Tabor 100 comments on the organizations 20th Annual Gala and announce the Crystal Eagle Awardees for the event that will be held on the evening of September 28 at the Waterfront Marriott. Roland Martin will be the keynote speaker.

*Jon Bersche, City of Seattle Workforce Training Supervisor and Co Chair, Seattle Martin Luther King Jr. Organizing Coalitions Opportunity Fair talks about the beginning of the Seattle MLK Day January 20, 2020 celebration.

*Pastor Joe Carter, Co Chair, The Francis B. North Legacy Initiative comments on the upcoming fundraiser on what would be Mrs. North’s 100 Birthday on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Northwest African American Museum 3-6 pm. Baseball Legend Johnnie B. “Dusty” Baker will be the guest speaker.

*Jamie Elmore, Founder, Alopecia Support Group and YasMi of London invites you to a Documentary Premiere Harmony Alopecia Stories at the Metropolist Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00 pm.

*Carmelle Bias, Founder, Women in Business Expo Group invites to the September Women in Expo Group will be shinning a light on being a healthy business owner on Wednesday, September 25 6:15-7:45 pm.
