*Martin Luther King Jr. County Sheriff Patti Cole-Tindall was appointed by King County Executive Dow Constantine to be Sheriff on May 6, 2022. She was appointed as Interim Sheriff in November, 2021. She will share her vision, her priorities and plans for a just and inclusive Sheriff’s Department.
* Seattle Police Detective Cookie Bouldin has received accolades for her positive work with the youth of South Seattle. Most recently a Chess Park is being constructed due to her success of engaging South Seattle youth in the positive and peaceful game of Chess.
*Reverend Lawrence Willis, President, United Black Christian Clergy of Washington has been the lead organizer in Justice for James Myers, the Black Carpenter who experienced a noose being placed at his workstation on a building being constructed for FACEBOOK in Redmond WA.

*Claude Burfect, First Vice President, Seattle King County NAACP attended the Poor Peoples Campaign event in Washington DC last week and will comment on the event. The Reverend Dr. William Barber is the leader of this effort.
*Award winning Draze will be in Seattle on Saturday, July 2 to host The Dhindindi by a Chosen Few that will be held at 7:30 pm at The Collective Seattle, 400 Dexter Avenue North.
