*Retired Seattle Attorney Lem Howell attended the August 28, 1963 March on Washington DC. He will share his memories of that day and he will be a speaker at the Seattle August 28 59th Anniversary event that will be held at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Civil Rights Park.
*Claude Burfect, First Vice President, Seattle King County NAACP attended the August 28,1963 March on Washington DC for Jobs and Freedom. He is known for his opposition to discrimination in the work place. He will be honored at Seattle’s August 59th Anniversary of the 1963 March where Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have A Dream” speech to 250,000 attendees.
