She will also comment on her committee assignments. Representative Santos was the sole sponsor of House Bill 1918 that created the Central District Community Preservation Development Authority (CDCPDA) aka the McKinney Center for Community and Economic Development.
*Kent Keel, University Place City Councilmember and Chair, Sound Transit Board comments on his experience as former Mayor, the work he is doing with Sound Transit, as Vice President, Association of Washington Cities, and talks about the expansion goals of Sound Transit and the impact COVID-19 is having on the transportation agency.
*Dr. Nashlie Sephus, Applied Science Manager for Amazon’s Artificial Intelligence (AI). She is reinvesting in her hometown of Jackson Mississippi. In September, 2020 she became owner and developer of the Jackson Tech District, a 12 acres of mixed-use commercial real-estate in downtown Jackson to bring tech training and workforce/economic development to the area.
