Black Voices Matter

Thursday, October 19 on Urban Forum Northwest:

*Kevin P. Henry will serve as Moderator for The Seattle Association of Black Journalist presentation of Black Voices Matter:Beyond The Byline Saturday, October 21 4-5 pm at Seattle’s Rainier Arts Center. Panelist for the discussion are Lola E. Peters, Editor-At-Large, South Seattle Emerald, Tat Bellamy-Walker, Communities Reporter-The Seattle Times, and Mayowa Aina, Special Projects Reporter KNKX.

*Emile Pitre and Issac Alexander pay tribute to the late Emanuel J. Brisker Jr. (EJ) they will also comment on the impact the Black Student Union (BSU) had on the University of Washington in the late 1960’s and 1970’s when there was three times more African American students on the Seattle campus than in 2023.

*Juan Peralez, President, UNIDOS-Snohomish County and Maralyn Chase, Communities Against Hate and Violence Extremism invites you to The Communities Against Hate Educational Forum, The Rising Radical Right’s Threat To Our Safety And Democracy that will feature Renowned Author David Neiwert. The title of his presentation is “White Christian Nationalism or Cultural Diversity.
