*Attorney Jesse Wineberry, Sr. explains why Initiative 200 (I-200) alone did not kill Affirmative Action in Washington State when I-200 was passed into law in 1998. He will also comment on his committee’s work with Governor Jay Inslee’s Office on an Executive Order to restore Affirmative Action.

*Velma Veloria is a former state legislator, is a founding member of several organizations that uplift the refugee and communities of color. She is a strong voice against the rash of hate crimes being experienced by our Asian Pacific Islander (API) community.

*Michael Woo has been a fighter for justice for several decades, he was one of the leaders of the United Construction Workers Association (UCWA) in the 70’s and 80’s and he was a founder of LELO. He speaks out against the hate crimes against the Asian Pacific Islander (API) Community.

*Ernie Dunston of the Seattle Breakfast Group comments on and invites you to the Project Misters 30th Annual Tie-One-On Event. The virtual event will honor young men transitioning into manhood.
