Anwar Peace, Chair Of The City Of Spokane Human Rights Commission

Anwar Peace, chairs the City of Spokane Human Rights Commission, plus he is also a member of the Spokane Human Rights Commissions’ Office of Civil Rights Exploratory Task Force. Mr. Peace over the past few years has been employed as a Community Health Worker and a Housing Specialist at a Spokane Homeless Shelter, working with clients to help alleviate barriers in their life so they can lead healthier and happier lives. Plus, for the past 22 years Mr. Peace has been a “Police-Accountability- Expert/Activist”. His activism has been focused on as well as centered around helping and supporting those families that have been touched by “Police-Violence” and/or “Police-Abuse”.
