Dr. Gary Simonds is a neurosurgeon, now retired, but who continues to teach and write. He and his coauthor Wayne Sotile PhD, have written 3 books on thriving in Healthcare. The 3rd– Thriving in Healthcare: A Positive Approach to Reclaim Balance and Avoid Burnout in Your Busy Life, is the focus for this conversation. Selfcare is really key in our lives–in general. At this time, it is even more critical, and that much more for those in healthcare.
