*Angela Rye was recently on BET commenting on the toll that COVID-19 is taking on the Black Community, the disproportionate percentage of deaths of Blacks and Latinos, the lack of direction from the top and the financial harm caused when Black Businesses are not included in the US Government Taxpayers Relief Package.

*Ernie Dunston, President, Seattle Breakfast Group had to cancel their April 24 signature event “Tie One On” that recognizes young men who are accomplishing great things in the classroom and the community and would have received the ties, shoes and other goods needed to enter college or the workforce.

*Estela Ortega, Executive Director, El Centro de la Raza, the organization is in a fund raising mode to assist individuals and organizations assisting COVID-19 patients and individuals who are financially impacted by the lack of paychecks due to the virus.

*Reverend Zachary K. Bruce, Sr. Senior Pastor, Freedom Church of Seattle is raising questions as to why Black Businesses are not participating in the 484 Billion Dollar US Government Taxpayers Relief Package.

*Pastor Lawrence Willis of the Seattle Urban League is leading an effort to build small houses for COVID-19 patients and others in need of shelter to self quarantine.
