7-01-18: Dr Scott Litin, ‘Mayo Clinic Family Health Book’, create your own emergency kit

Dr. Scott Litin, an internist at the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, takes the time to touch on a few of the topics in the updated volume of the Mayo Clinic Family Health Book. Dr. Litin suggests having questions written down to make the best use of the limited time of a doctor visit. With summer and camping time upon us, it even covers creating a good emergency kit–specifically mentions having a pair of tweezers, particularly important to extract a ‘tick’…a transmitter of Lyme disease.
