6-24-18: Michael Schreeinga MD, ‘They’ll Never Be the Same, A Parent’s Guide to PTSD in Youth’

Dr. Michael Schreeinga is an award-winning research psychiatrist, and author of “They’ll Never Be the Same, A Parent’s Guide to PTSD in Youth”. Foremost is the fact that PTSD has been overlooked in youth. We may finally be acknowledging it with all the school shootings. But Dr. Schreeinga points out the other areas from which it results: Natural disasters, witnessing domestic violence, motor vehicle accidents, physical abuse, sexual abuse, and accidental injuries. Very important reading for parents and educators to provide the information needed to advocate for our kids.
