Public Affairs show recap: understanding Anxiety and Traumatic Stress

For our show on Sunday, April 8th, I had the pleasure of being joined in the studio by doctors Lori Zoellner, Frank Farach and Larry Pruitt of the University of Washington Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress (UWCATS). Their program’s mission is twofold:

  1. Provide treatment services (medication and psychotherapy) to trauma survivors, and
  2. As a research program for post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

They seek to offer the most innovative, empirically supported, and effective treatments for the disorder.

Doctors Zoeliner, Farach and Pruitt discussed their clinical trials and the insights they are gaining into treating and understanding anxiety disorders and traumatic stress.
