PAWS Companion Animal Shelter

Kitten and Puppy Emergency!!
PAWS currently has more than 150 kittens and puppies that need homes right away.
There's a traffic jam at PAWS this month, but it's not in the parking lot. Our shelter is filled bumper-to-bumper (and top to bottom) with kittens and puppies! Kitten and puppy season is generally understood to take place in the spring and summer months, when the weather is warmer and the days are longer.
But not this year.
"The amount of kittens and puppies continues to be extraordinary for this time of year" says Kay Joubert, Director of Companion Animal Services at PAWS.
“We routinely have 8-10 kittens on the surgery schedule every day, and sometimes up to 15. We’re responding as best we can to make sure these vulnerable animals are taken care of.”
If you've been considering adding a puppy or kitten to your family, now would be a great time to do it! Please visit our Adoptions page for more information, or to fill out an adoption form online.
We have kittens available for adoption at our Cat City location, and puppies and kittens available at our Lynnwood shelter—stop by either of these locations for a visit! Adopt a kitten or puppy from PAWS!

Cat of the Week: Cally
Cally is a special gal—you don't see too many female orange tabbies around! And she is as sweet as she is unique. Cally is seven years old, and she is looking for a warm and safe forever home she can call her own. Come meet this wonderful gal at PAWS Cat City in Seattle's University District!!
Dog of the Week: Brady
Brady is a high energy pup who loves to play, play, play! He is handsome, full of love, and ready to learn his basic manners. Brady gets on well with other dogs and is looking for an active family who loves the outdoors as much as he does. One of Brady's personality traits is that he loves to say 'hello' when new people are walking past him in the kennel, as if he is saying "Stop! Take me home!" Due to his exhuberant personality, he would do best in a home with adults only. Come meet Brady at our Lynnwood shelter today!
