Be inspired by Filipino cut paper traditions. Learn to design and cut pabalat (sweets wrappers) and banderitas (festival/party banners). An ephemeral art meant to visually enhance childhood sweets and life's celebrations, Filipino cut paper designs embraces pre-colonial, colonial, and contemporary motifs. Participants will be introduce to basic patterns, how to create narrative designs, and invent their own motifs. Lead by local artist Romson Regarde Bustillo. More information here.
